2. The content should be limited to approximately 1500 words and must include a title
3. Contributions may be submitted as typewritten emails or pasted into the email but, if possible, should also be attached as a Microsoft Word file. Material must be in a black font and in a block type format without indents and without returns except at the end of paragraphs.
4. Only content that is the original work of the contributor, including any previous publishing done on the contributor's personal web site, will be accepted. A link should be provided to that web site. Exceptions may be made based on information supplied with the work that would merit that consideration.
5. Contributions should include the author's complete name and an email address. See EMail Privacy Policy.
6. Rational Advocate's has the final right of acceptance or rejection of any submission.
7. If your material is edited, it will be returned to you for approval and resubmission if further edited by you.
8. It is A Rational Advocate's policy to not pay for any essay or article published. In addition, it is possible that your contribution may be published elsewhere, therefore its acceptance is based on your permission being granted for its publication by others without pay. Your material does not become the property of A Rational Advocate.
9. Notice of acceptance or rejection of a contributors work will be made, under normal circumstances, within 7 days of receipt. Exceptions can occur during certain times of the year because of holidays and vacations.
10. Material will not be accepted that is unlawful, threatening, obscene, vulgar, pornographic, profane or indecent including any communication that constitutes (or encourages conduct that would constitute) a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any local, state, national or international law.
